Why Should We Hire You?

While working as a PAL leader I have learnt to become more open-minded. I am an enthusiastic person and I believe in architecture it is important to understand the criticism. As a PAL it constantly challenged my communication skills, I have improved by being more empathic towards people, understanding their concepts and learnt to experiment with different ways of helping people. Having moved to and from South Africa, adaptability is an immediate strength. I find it easy to settle into places and with my bubbly character am not scared to ask for help if needed. My driven nature has allowed me to constantly improve my software knowledge by completing courses online and watching Youtube tutorials to gain an extra skill or two. Hospitality - As any waiter staff could say, a busy shift is stressful. Through these busy shifts, I have learnt to handle my stress in a positive way and being able to recognise when I need to take a step back and re-evaluate my situation. As I am an organised person, I translated this into handling stress and in turn has pushed me to do better. I am an honest and committed person by nature, I believe this is what allowed me to become a supervisor in a restaurant even in the absence of not having any managerial experience before that.

Architecture

Bachelor Degree (Undergraduate)

University of the West of England

Architecture is an extremely intense course, there is a lot to take on and quickly. I believe I was lucky in being passionate about the course and really being driven to do well. The intensity of it allowed me to be more organised and manage my work appropriately. I have learnt to handle my stress in a positive way and quick to notice the signs of stress to take a step back and re-evaluate my work motives. I have become more aware of sustainability through university and pride myself on thinking of alternative methods in my design process.
