Junior frontend developer with a background in Agile project management, based in London UK. I'm looking for an entry-level role in tech with mentorship and room to grow. I've become proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), React, Next.js, Firebase, Git, GitHub and command line, and passionate about UI design and the craft of building accessible user features and experiences. In 2008, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Science and Technology, which gave me solid foundations of user-centred design, computer science and coding. After 9 years of working in digital project management, I reignited my passion for coding and started catching up on new frontend development technologies. I then enrolled in a JavaScript and React Development course with General Assembly to further deepen my programming skills. I'm currently focusing on exploring more React and Next.js, and interested in TypeScript and GraphQL. Love the creativity and visual aspects of Frontend Development, which perfectly combines my passion for user-centred design with logical and programming skills. I’m especially drawn to the level of detail put into designing, building and testing deceptively simple components of a UI, that thoroughly follow accessibility principles. I would like the opportunity to learn more about UX and the process of developing and testing user interface features in a commercial environment.
