My academic background and my experiences as a freelance translator and a cultural and linguistic mediator gave me the experience necessary to carry out confidently tasks related to translation and localisation as well as the critical skills necessary to thoroughly analyses and work with a variety of documents in different languages. On the other hand, the experience has CATI interviewer improved my interpersonal and communication skills which would be essential to interact with colleagues and clients. Lastly, the extracurricular activities as a student representative and assistant director of the drama society have provided me with great organisational skills as well as empathy and teamwork skills, which would be beneficial in giving my contribution to the team’s work.
